Morelli & Clark Cleared to Play!

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., October 19, 2006 - Quarterbacks Anthony Morelli and Daryll Clark have been cleared by the Penn State medical staff to play in Saturday's Penn State-Illinois game. Kickoff for the 87th Homecoming game is at 12:00 p.m., with a crowd of 109,000-plus expected in sold out Beaver Stadium.
Morelli and Clark suffered mild concussions in last week's game with Michigan. They have been under observation and tested by the Penn State medical staff over the past five days. Coach Joe Paterno said earlier this week that neither practiced on Monday and they returned to limited practice on Tuesday. Morelli, a junior from Pittsburgh, has started the initial seven games this season.

On the eve of this year's biggest home game, we present this season's pump up video which debuted before the home opener versus Akron. Though not as good as some of the videos from last year, this will still get the blood flowing heading into the matchup with the "school that can't tell time" aka Michigan. Another week of football passes by and another week of concerns for the Nittany Lions' quarterback Anthony Morelli. In this week's show Mike & Ryan talk about the positives for Anthony and the issues he needs to resolve heading into the heart of the Big Ten season. The guys also discuss Deon's big game, Jay Alford's dive and Joe's reaction, as well as previewing the matchup against Minnesota.
