Minnesota vs. Penn State 10/1/2005
The battle of two undefeated conference foes earned much hype around college football until the Lion's led 20-0 in the second quarter and punished the Golden Gophers in numerous aspects of the game. The highly touted Minnesota rushing attack could only muster 113 yards while the Penn State ground game racked up 364 yards behind Tony Hunt's 114 yards and Michael Robinson's 112 yards. Derrick Williams showed off his athletic ability running in two touchdowns out of the backfield and helping the Lion's to a 44-14 victory and a 5-0 start to the season.
