Morelli & Clark Cleared to Play!

Penn State Press Release:
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., October 19, 2006 - Quarterbacks Anthony Morelli and Daryll Clark have been cleared by the Penn State medical staff to play in Saturday's Penn State-Illinois game. Kickoff for the 87th Homecoming game is at 12:00 p.m., with a crowd of 109,000-plus expected in sold out Beaver Stadium.

Morelli and Clark suffered mild concussions in last week's game with Michigan. They have been under observation and tested by the Penn State medical staff over the past five days. Coach Joe Paterno said earlier this week that neither practiced on Monday and they returned to limited practice on Tuesday. Morelli, a junior from Pittsburgh, has started the initial seven games this season.
