Purdue Technical Difficulties

Due to technical difficulties throughout the Purdue vs. Penn State game we are not able to offer an archived edition of the Lions 33-15 victory over the Boilermakers. The Lions rushed for 303 yards and controlled the ballgame at all times setting themselves up for a showdown with Wisconsin for Big Ten supremacy.

Penn State vs. Illinois 10/21/2005

After a difficult loss in the Big House a relaxing easygoing trip to the heart of Illinois was just what the Lions needed to get back to their winning ways. Records fell throughout the Penn State books as the Lions racked up 56 points in the first half and Michael Robinson accounted for 6 touchdowns tying a record set in 1917. Defeating the Illini 63-10 resulted in many of younger players getting time and could prove to be a more important game than we all first thought as numerous first time starters this fall saw extended playing time. Penn State vs. Michigan 10/14/2005

A day that will go down as one of the best in college football history, will be in all Penn State Fans' minds as a day better left unmentioned. Though easily one of the most difficult losses for the Nittany Nation to endure, the Michigan game in Ann Arbor was one of the best played games that the Big Ten has seen in years. After struggling to score in the first three quarters of play, both teams came out and played a gut-wrenching final 15 minutes. Penn State quickly turned a 10-3 deficit into an 18-10 advantage after an Mrob TD and Alan Zemaitis take away TD. Michigan answered right back and followed that up with a field goal forcing the Lions to make another late drive to the take lead. With 53 seconds Mrob dove into the end zone and gave PSU a 25-21 lead. Unfortunately favorable referees and a miraculous 2 seconds gave Michigan everything they needed to pull off a last second win 27-25. Ohio State vs. Penn State 10/8/2005

Under the lights of Beaver Stadium the biggest game in recent Penn State history played out as every fan in blue and white could have hoped. A defensive struggle the entire way, the Lions took control of the game in the second quarter scoring on a Derrick Williams run and an interception by Calvin Lowry on the following OSU possession that would lead to a Michael Robinson touchdown. Troy Smith tried to lead the Buckeyes back but could not deal with the pressure from the Nittany Lions and fumbled with 1:21 left to play due to a sack by Tamba Hali. Minnesota vs. Penn State 10/1/2005

The battle of two undefeated conference foes earned much hype around college football until the Lion's led 20-0 in the second quarter and punished the Golden Gophers in numerous aspects of the game. The highly touted Minnesota rushing attack could only muster 113 yards while the Penn State ground game racked up 364 yards behind Tony Hunt's 114 yards and Michael Robinson's 112 yards. Derrick Williams showed off his athletic ability running in two touchdowns out of the backfield and helping the Lion's to a 44-14 victory and a 5-0 start to the season. Penn State vs. Northwestern 9/24/2005

4th and 15, that basically sums it up...3-0 heading into the Big Ten season and the Lions opened up conference play at Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois. Early struggles and four turnovers led to a 23-7 deficit for Penn State and forced Michael Robinson to lead a comeback that would go down as one of the most dynamic in Nittany Lion history. With the season on the line and Penn State trailing 27-29, Robinson completed a 20 yard pass to tight end Issac Smolko and kept hopes for a dream season alive. Derrick Williams caught his first touchdown pass for PSU on a 36 yard reception from Robinson with 51 seconds left to play sealing the 34-29 win and beginning the Lion's run to the conference title. Central Michigan vs. Penn State 9/17/2005

Week 3 the Lion's offense was back at it, scoring 19 points in the second quarter behind Deon Butler's 2 touchdown receptions from Michael Robinson. MRob continued his strong play throwing for 274 yards and three touchdowns for the second consecutive game. The multi-threat quarterback had answered all of the questions of whether or not he had the ability, but it was still up in the air whether he could the lead the Lions in big games and key situations. Cincinnati vs. Penn State 9/10/2005

After a week to ponder an unimpressive offense in game one, Penn State fans were back in Beaver Stadium for the Lion's second straight Big East oppenent. The PSU defense forced four Bearcat turnovers and the offense showed the first signs of big play ability with two touchdowns on plays over 40 yards. Not only did Michael Robinson find freshman for big plays he also completed a TD to tight end Patrick Hall on a botched goaline play. Penn State would go on to lead 42-10 before Cincinnati scored twice in the final minute to end the Lions 12 game streak of not allowing more than 21 points. The Nittany Lions would move to 2-0 on the season with the 42-24 victory and would prepare for one last tune up before Big Ten play began. South Florida vs. Penn State 9/3/2005

With less than a week till the Lion's opener against Akron, it's finally time to post all of our broadcasts from last year's thrilling season. Naturally we begin with the September 3rd matchup against the South Florida Bulls in Beaver Stadium. Many questions faced the Nittany Lions heading into the week one game including the offensive line, quarterback, and young receivers. The Lions posted an early 17-0 advantage but let the Bulls back in it, only winning by ten points (23-13) in a game that many expected to be a blow out. It's August 12th! Which means we're only 20 days away from the season opener for your defending Big Ten Champion Nittany Lions. The Spring Semester is Over! And Chadwick and I are back for the final show before the summer break. The Blue White Game

This past Saturday ComRadio had the broadcast of the annual Blue White Game at Beaver Stadium and here is an archived version of Blue's 17-0 victory over White. First year quarterback Anthony Morelli shined even though he didn't score a touchdown and Jordan Norwood continues to surprise people with over 150 yards receiving. The rain was pelting the Nittany Lions all afternoon but 18,000 loyal fans still showed up for a look into the future of Penn State Football.

As The Blue White Game is a practice for the Nittany Lions, it is also a practice for ComRadio Broadcasters and features some more experienced announcers as well as some youngsters enjoying their first shot. Spring Practice Video!

Spring Practice has arrived and the Blue White Football Podcast was there to bring you all of the most up to date news about the Penn State Nittany Lions. Coach Paterno gives us his thoughts on some of the issues his squad is facing heading into spring and what he hopes to get out of the coming weeks before the Blue White game. We also had the chance to talk with several players after practice and got some interesting insight into what lies ahead for Penn State Football. Halftime Interview with Tom Bradley

For this week we have an excerpt from the Penn State basketball team's NIT game against Rutgers on Tuesday night. Nittany Lions' Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley sat down with us during halftime to talk about what Ed DeChellis has done to improve the basketball program and how that can help the football team. Coach Bradley also clues us into some of his plans for the upcoming spring practices/blue white game and gives us an update on Paul Posluszny.

Locker Room Tour with Michael Robinson

Right before the Big Ten season began, MRob was kind enough to show us around the Penn State locker room and give us an idea of what the players are like off the field and the kind of facilities they get to use. This is a hilarious clip from the Wisconsin game that some of you may have already seen but is funny nonetheless. For those of you who haven't seen Napoleon Dynamite I reccomend you rent it and then you can truly appreciate the Nittany Lion's skills.
